Hello, my name is Evan, and this is our family of five - my beautiful wife, two amazing daughters, and Moose, our 125-pound mastiff.
​
Our mission is simple: to improve the health and happiness of pets by providing a convenient and enjoyable way to take their medication. We believe that every pet deserves the best care, and we're here to make that possible.

Did you know that depending on the breed a dog's nose has between 125 million and 300 million scent glands, while we have only a measly 5 million?
​
And…did you know that if you don’t hide the smell of your dog’s medicine well enough, your dog will give you that look? Or refuse to take it... or spit it out (even hidden in most foods).
Well of course you knew that one. That’s why you are here. We love our dogs and they need to take their meds to get better, and they need consistent dosage for medicine to be affective.

We empathize with you when it’s pill time, because we know. Oh boy, do we know! For us, pill time was creating unnecessary stress for both the family and Moose. He weighs a LOT, so sometimes he has to take more than one pill.
When we pet our dog, our stress levels go down – and so can our blood pressure. But when it’s pill time – sometimes it goes up.
“Necessity is the mother of invention.”
People will create, invent, new things when there is a need.
And, boy, is there a need for giving a pill to dogs who act like a pill!
After countless attempts, a lot of frustration, and disappointment with the fake peanut butter "flavored" products on the market, the idea of Pill Butter was created.
